Since the middle of 1998, approximately 50 companies from various sectors of industry have successfully located their business in the KNAPSACK Technology and Industry Park.

As a result, more than 1,000 new jobs have been created over the last few years.

Prime examples of companies found at the site are Stellar DBS GmbH, InfraServ GmbH & Co. Knapsack KG, Rhein Papier GmbH, Vinnolit GmbH & Co. KG, Bayer Crop Science, Voestalpine Präzisionsprofil GmbH, GRUBA Gesellschaft für Entsorgung mbH and trans-o-flex Schnell-Lieferdienst GmbH to name but a few.
